I was a little skeptical when I bought this watch, about the Eco drive and how it works. Well, after about seven years of use, I am here to tell you, this technology works!
This is a beautiful Japanese style watch, the look really is bold and attractive -- the main reason I bought it. I usually buy Swiss made watches, but this one really sold me with the look.
It's large, bold, attractive, and the battery doesn't need replacing every two to three years like other quartz movements.
Pros:
Bold, beautiful.
Accurate movement.
Screw down case back, posts.
Dual time display.
Date display.
Illuminated hands.
Deployant clasp.
All stainless steel construction.
Mineral crystal.
Eco drive.
Time and date adjustment are simple.
Cons:
Mineral crystal is not as hard as some other makers, I have minor scratching and a chip out of the edge from routine wear.
Speaking to the time and date adjustment -- to adjust the hour for daylight savings, just screw out the main post and pull out one click, then turn clockwise to move the hour hand forward/back one hour. To adjust the date, do the same except turn counter-clockwise (super easy!). Most watches require you to turn the hour hand 24 hours to adjust this setting.
Overall -- great watch that will saves you the hassle of getting the battery replaced every few years.
